College is an exciting time in your life. For many people, it’s their first time away from home and their first experience living on their own. Be Prepared

Don’t dismiss their concerns or complaints just because an apartment has a fresh coat of paint and a nice television. Sometimes, the furnishings or electronics will disappear before you move in. Be sure to get in writing any appliances, furniture, or other items that are to be included with the rental. As a general rule, make sure that everything agreed upon is in writing.
Location Matters
One common selling point for student housing is that it’s usually close to campus, but that doesn’t always make it a great location across the board. Look into crime rates, transit access, and other considerations. There are many choices when it comes to Athens, Ohio, rentals, and you aren’t obligated to go with the first offer that’s made.
